I'm Christian Byskov Fur, a physician and PhD student in cardiovascular research at Aarhus University, Denmark.
During my PhD, I found it difficult to keep up with new research. Studies were spread across so many journals, and I often came across interesting papers long after they had been published.
So I started building CurrentCardio. I wanted a simple way to follow new studies without having to check dozens of journals myself.
But I figured I probably wasn't the only one with this problem. Researchers and clinicians in other specialties must face much the same challenge.
That's why I started CInterval Research. My hope is to build similar platforms for as many medical specialties as possible, all free to use.
Research
My research focuses on cardiovascular medicine. I am the lead investigator of the FOXY trial.

Company and funding
CInterval Research ApS is the company behind the Current platforms, including CurrentCardio and CurrentAnesthesia. It is founder-owned and self-funded, with no industry or institutional funding. CInterval Research operates independently of Aarhus University. All Current platforms are free to use.
